Well i appreciate that but i personally don't feel fleeced by this particular match. Ask me after the next time i pay for a league game and i might say differently.
I can totally understand where you guys are coming from because the season ticket prices are outlandish but on this isolated occasion I don't have a problem paying.

The general sale tickets sold out in half an hour. Around 25,000 tickets. Which is impressive.

Faz do you think this game will sell out? Cus if it does its not over priced. dont know it might , anfield is vastly over priced and it sell out , but someone said a concert is a 100 euros , but would you pay 20 euros to watch a concert sound check ?????

If that's how you feel about liverpool fc I think you need to find yourself another hobby. I feel sad for you and the rest if the pesimist's it must be difficult getting out if bed in the morning with that black cloud over your head. it doesn't matter what you pay, if you are paying well over the odds for any product no matter what it is then you will feel like that, phone bill, match ticket, concert ticket, pair of Trousers whatever. Listen I can fully understand a person who hardly sees Liverpool play finding it hard to understand and this is proved by people on here being thrilled to be fleeced for a glorified training session, but to a regular match goer being fleeced every week is no fun at all especialy when they take you for granted and not reward your loyalty. They keep calling the Club a franchise and we are customers so if that's the case why don't they give regular match goers discount or a loyalty card for money off like they do in shops when you spend a few bob that would be a good gesture from the club, not putting up prices.

I see what your saying, but if 45.000 are happy to pay it then the club have done their home work and as far as they are concerned its not over priced (supply and demand) the same reason they keep putting the season tickets up cus people keep picking up the slack and buying the tickets people give up.

The only time the club will discount tickets is when the ground is not full! And that hasn't happened yet, so that must mean they haven't over priced the tickets. If you can only sell 45.000 tickets and 70.000 want them you can charge more.

What we need is for all areas of the ground to be hiked up and all these armchair fans to have to pay 50 Quid to watch that way we will have the numbers to really fight this injustice, until this happens we won't be able to do much
