This might be the best thing ever. Having read we were getting Chelsea, I reported on another thread saying "we'll probably get Stoke at home."

We should be getting between 68 and 78 points but that remains to be seen.

Stoke have changed managers and just get worse and worse. I think we can beat them. Villa should be a win, but we've been clobbered by them so, who knows. Beating Moyes in his first month in charge would be nice though.

It's interesting that Fergie has gone, and Man Utd have Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City inside the first 5.

I have to say, with only a quick perusal, I think that is as good a fixture list as we're likely to get. The most difficult period, in my eyes, is that our December run in ends with Man City and Chelsea separated by a day. Other than that, I can't find many things to complain about.

We have few tough games back to back, even our end of season run in is bareable. Palace could conceivably already have their destiny decided, and Newcastle will be safe in mid-table with little to play for.
