Personally I think bad mouthing and saying all these nasty things about him is disrespectful to both him and the fans. Some of us stand by him as long as he is a red. If he leaves, so be it,but he has already contributed so much to us as a club and to us fans. I don't think he deserves this treatment from fans....

Well with Cavani to Madrid, Falcao to PSG and Torres maybe on his way to Barca, where does this leave Suarez? Cavani said the other day Spain is not the place that he would like to play as it wouldn't suit him, but now he's on his way there? Never said that, what i said was that you dont know the facts, only what *ONE ENGLISH REPORTER* translated it as. I will reserve judgement until i hear it straight from the horses mouth and not hop on the band wagon as soon as we hear the word boo, they say this is a trait that comes with age i thought you'd be more sensible than that you weren't the first one on the bandwagon you were the one driving it offering people lifts on it for free...

I think if you bite, dive, handball and make comments that could be perceived as racist then you should be prepared to face the consequences... you deserve to, simple as.
Having sad that i do think he's received a tough time from the press. but i think the FA are the ones to blame for it. fergie seemed to have a great influence on referee's and the FA and to me he only fuelled the fire even more when he said "he's a disgrace and LFC should sack suarez" for refusing to shake hands with evra.
Man United have had it in for him from the beginning because they fear his ability especially after his display at anfield when he set kuyt up for a hat trick. Javier Hernandez & David De Gea call evra "negrito" on the training pitch every day so should suarez really be labelled as a racist?
The FA saw this differently and decided to ban him for 8 games. For a word that has a completely different meaning in spanish/south american context. How petty. Then John Terry gets caught doing it live on tv and they umm and ahh about it for 6 months and decide to give him a 4 match ban.
Where is the consistency? imo the FA are the ones to blame more than the press. its their fault the nation dislike him because as far as they're concerned he's a racist despite there being no evidence, just one man's word against another.
If i were Suarez i'd find that tough to take. Its like when celebrities or other footballers get caught up in incidents, like raheem sterling and even brendan rodgers son and the rest of the Brighton lads. even though they have their names officially cleared in court their names still seemed to be tarnished some what. Thats why suarez's name has been dragged through the mud. the majority of football fans across the nation don't want to know the in's and out's of the evra racism incident, they're just happy to take the FA's word for it. They're to blame for turning him into a hate figure imo
It loaded the gun for everyone to have a pop at him soon as he next stepped out of line. after he dived against stoke despite being stamped on tony pulls & david moyes decided to speak to every possible media outlet about how it needs to be stamped out of the game. Gareth Bale wins both young player and player of the year award despite being booked for diving more than any other player in europe this season... and its suarez's name that gets booed at the player of the year awards.
