With all the talk about Suarez and his involvement in frequent interviews. And how he being a scum bag, and not showing respect etc, it got me thinking....

I was thinking about it from a different angel. While he hasn't done himself any favors, I do have the question that has been niggling on the back of my mind: Is it right the the media, the F.A. and other clubs have treated him so twisted towards him. I mean, I've never seen a players so attacked in my like. It's fair to say that he seems to be specifically picked out to receive bad press, and its quite relentless.

I seriously believe that in some way, the media and F.A. are in a large part responsible for Suarez wanting to leave. I mean he didn't do himself any favors, but other players seem to do this kind of stuff and it doesn't carry on like it does with Suarez.

I guess I'm asking, is it fair that his name has been dragged through the mud and now the club has to deal with the effects? Has it all been his own doing? Do you think that the media have had a field day?

He's acted the fool, but the press and f.a have slaughtered him where they've let others off with little or no punishment in comparison. It's bulshit.

It just kind of feels a bit like we've had one of our players (argularbly the best player in the league too) picked on and kind of driven out. The problem is, once things start to calm down, Suarez does something stupid again, and the press have their day in the sun again.

If Suarez thinks the press in Britain are bad wait till he finds out what they are like in Madrid

You're a bit slow on this one "Pops". The OTT treatment is PRECISELY the issue and always has been. Like you say, others have done things just as bad, or even worse, but haven't had to endure anywhere near the amount of media excrement that Suarez gets. And if that's not bad enough, our cretinous prime minister has felt the need to get involved when he should have been on holiday or totting up his expenses somewhere.

suarez has a temper and is a bit of an idiot but nowhere near J.T's filth. yet suarez gets worse press.

I'm a bit slow on a lot of things Car. I think I'm getting old, or I just might not really give a shitt most of the time, maybe a bit of both. Or maybe it's because I'm on holiday in Japan and have been having a life as opposed to thinking about Suarez.

One things for sure, we are going to lose a player once that first big bid comes in, and its mainly because he's been treated unfairly by the filth that is the English press, and there is nothing we can do about it. So the F.A. And the the press have in a way influenced our team and been inadvertadly been influencing how we perform.

Well with Cavani to Madrid, Falcao to PSG and Torres maybe on his way to Barca, where does this leave Suarez? Cavani said the other day Spain is not the place that he would like to play as it wouldn't suit him, but now he's on his way there? (Reportedly) Just shows how things change, dont be suprised if Suarez comes back from holiday and says he wants to stay, i'm almost sure this will happen for some reason, the day of that interview where he apparantely said he was leaving it was all over the news, ever since we've heard nothing? And why? Because the media did exactly what they wanted, they got most Liverpool fans on their sides and then in turn these same fans wanted Suarez' head? (Faz been one of the main culprids on here) Look, wait until he's back from holiday and gives a club scheduled press conference in English or even close to English and go from there. Who knows whos trying to put words in his mouth abroad.

i am not on the press's side , but one thing i will not except is the rubbish suarez has been says total disrespect to the club and its fans .
