My interpretation was that he was given a string of hypothetical questions, one being if he wanted to play with Ronaldo.
Again the press have grabbed sound bites to beat up a story about him.
But he would be better off not saying anything in public really when he is acting on behalf of himself. When he representing LFC he needs a club minder to hold his hand.

His head is turned and his comments are fuelling the fire. Whether he leaves or not, he is isolating himself more continuing to bite (pun intended).

At your age it is understandable, but they are a bit old for Suarez.

I don't really care what he said about playing with Ronaldo. Anyone who wouldn't want to play with Ronaldo is lying. He's one of the best players in the world. If he goes, he goes. If he stays he stays. No point getting our collective knickers in a twist about it, because that won't change anything. I personally hope he stays, and if he does, I hope the fans don't give him the cold shoulder after that, because we'd be a much poorer club without him. If not, I can't really blame him. He'd be going to a place that spoke his language, to a team that's actually winning things and is in the CL, and to play with some of the best in the world, not to mention to get away from the English press which clearly does not like him. Do not pretend that an offer like that wouldn't turn your head. What do you people expect? For him to be a saint and not even be tempted? You're daft. He'll take some time to make his decision, and I hope he makes the right one.

IF he leaves, we get a big payday, and maybe we'll spend it wisely and be better off, but I doubt it. But IF he stays, a side with Luis Suarez in it is a sight better than one without him. Do you remember how were were playing before we signed him? With Torres sulking and everyone else misfiring or not caring? Life will go on without him, but life will be better with him.

Exactly...;) you get my point though Faz, Suarez says yes to a question like that and all of a sudden " he's gunning for a move, he opened his big mouth yada yada" . Come on , be realistic. Whilst he might be doing that, there is an equal chance it's the media instigating it, Marca is a mouthpiece for Real Madrid.

Something else to consider what if he had said no comment ? That would have fuelled speculation. If he is considering his future (and we knw e is) he can hardly say my future is with Liverpool.

So going an honest answer was the right decision. Let the press make of it what they will its their job to sell newspapers not tell the truth.

Lets hope and pray he stays because he is one f the best players the club has ever had

Excellent point, Stan. He's just being honest. He hasn't even made a move yet. There is absolutely no point at anyone being happy or angry about a transfer link until the move actually happens, because honestly, we don't know what's going on. We'd like to think we do, but we don't know these people, and we aren't there. Let's find out what we think after we actually know he's leaving or not.

It isnt that Luis is opening his "big" mouth again.

It is that he is saying things that some people on here dont want to hear.

Last summer when he was telling the press that he was staying at Liverpool I dont remember anyone creating a thread about him opening his "big" mouth.

Rather than condemning him, we should be doing our best to convince him to stay.
