Christ, please not Tevez. He's every bit as much trouble as Suarez on a PR front. Plus he's nowhere near as good. PLUS, he was totally disrespectful to the club, the manager, the owners and the fans when he decided to go 'walk about' last year (was it?) An absolute and total loose cannon.

Suarez gets very well compensated for the hard time he gets and the excellent football he plays, don't forget that, he got the backing of the fans, the club, the manager after his misdemeanours and now he wants to bugger off?
Well he can bloody well put it in writing and wait for the negotiations to happen, Skrtel wants out, don't see him mouthing off.
This 50m shoite to, well sorry that is not enough, we don't want or need to sell so it should only be a ridiculous offer which will see him leave, he has 4 years left on his contract so time is against him.
The club have handled this well with the simple hands off, not for sale followed by silence approach, it is in Suarez hands not to request a transfer and waive his right to a healthy payoff.

Exactly, with 4 years left if he does hand in a request which i believe he wont he will lose out on a nice few million, plus his loyalty bonus which has got to be 4 or 5 million pounds.

He's not joining Utd or Chelsea, he's not slagging the club off, he gave / gives his all every time he goes out onto the pitch... so what gives???
He must hate where he is at the moment - not Liverpool, but Britain. He made a couple of screw ups and has gotten SLAUGHTERED for it. He made the mess himself, but I can't blame him for wanting to get the hell out of England, start with a clean slate.
We're not going to get shafted if he goes - and he'll only go if he hands in a request. 40 milion is a fair price if that is the buy out, anything more is a bonus.
