Scotty its half 1 over here in Britain/Ireland some of us like to sleep some may have work tomorrow even though its a Sunday and others could be gone for a few pints.

But wilkij another thing is do Englishmen have the god given ability from birth? When i'm in holidays in Italy we stay in Rome in our grand mothers house its not a holiday resort, and you see young lads of 10 and 11 playing in the park doing things on the ball the the average Englishman/Irishman wouldn't be able to do until their 14 or 15, its completely different over there. Same in Spain the U14 teams over there would whip Englands U21 team off the park lol Doesn't surprise me. The whole football culture over here is terrible. It comes from years of hoof and run football because that's seen as exciting! The EPL arrogantly calls itself the best league in the world and until it stops with that crap nothing will change. The FA will never sorted while its like that as they don't have the balls to take on the EPL and I wouldn't trust any of them to know what they're up to anyway.

Only watch the summer tournaments, the Euros & the World Cup. Lost interest in every thing else on the International calender years ago.
I'm gonna do one of those "football's not what it used to be" cliches - because it isn't.
The world cup is lifeless these days, too many uninteresting teams / fixtures... the competition itself being held in countries I (personally) couldn't give a rats about as far as football is concerned. Good tournaments in traditional football countries when it was held in Germany and France respectively a few years back, glad to see it in Brazil next year too - but they were still not the tournament it once was. As for all the Japan / Korea /South Africa / USA ect.. no thanks.
Can't wait until the Euros expand to accommodate 24 teams in 2016 - already a better tournament than the World Cup in my eyes, it's only gonna get better.

I strongly agree, until the FA step in the national team will always be poop and the league will only be one of the best because of all the overseas signings. I see underage teams in Ireland/England playing and its just beat the ball up to the strikers, in Italy/Spain/France and now more and more Germany you would see alot of underage teams passing the ball around between the defence and midfield instead of rushing it forward. Also kids from abroad are better technically than Jonny Englishman for some reason, something has to be done. As Ged said the other day, who is running that George's Park academy thing? There is absolutely no structure in it"

Realised something really funny last night. For the first time in my memory, Ireland actually have a better manager in place than England. That, to me, is crazy.
