Actually, I know England often bottle it but I really believe in this case, and many others its down to the manager...HOw the hell can one put Hodgson up against CAppello or Hiddink? It's ridiculous, and Pearce is an awful awful manager...

Zaha Redmond and Ince not good enough. Perhaps a reminder to people that these are CHAMPIONSHIP players and if they were any good they would be in the Premier league. Zaha will be next year but I expect him to stink.
We had no strikers so whilst these 3 proved not good enough at this level they also proved they could not adapt. However the little dive Zaha took in the box about 15 mins from the end shows he is going to the right club. Also Holloway reportedly wanting Ince for £4m shows how much he is really worth although when he was Blackpool manager he rated him at 3 times that value. Redmond was wanted by several clubs a year ago but he has not moved on. Was that because Birmingham wanted too much or that he really is not that good?
Got no problems with Pearce as a manager but think that for his own sake he should get out now, his contract is up and he could go and manage in the Championship now. Got a feeling he might turn up at Wigan. Him and Whelan would be a good fit and there would be no compensation to pay.

Probably Chamberlain, who else? Yea the Ox was missing,so was Sterling through injury. Andros Townsend as it turns out is a very naughty boy and there were many others they didnt have. All in all England were missing 17 u21 players.
