so we are better with this global fanbase with players like Henderson, Downing and Borini ahead of a non global fanbase of players like Jay Spearing is what you are saying then, if I remember right Jay Spearing played more of part in the season before he went on loan than those three players this global fanbase provided.

Am sorry but you still have not provided enough evidence in showing we are better off on the pitch for having this so called global fanbase.

What? Borini was never at the club when Spearing was? And i'm pretty sure Downing and Henderson have player alot more games than Spearing too, even if he did he was far worse than both which is saying something. He's got alot of heart and he loves the club but he hasn't got the ability hence why he was on loan all season at Bolton.. Suarez, Torres, Garcia, Enrique, Lucas etc are all currently or in the past at the club and wouldn't have joined had it not been for our global fanbase. But as i said you wont accept that bitter old men never do buddy..

So Jay Spearing was alot worse than both Downing and Henderson was he, well if thats what you think no probs. You mention us having the likes of Torres and Suarez due to our global fanbase well guess what combined all they have contributed to the club is one solitary Capital One Cup between them on the pitch and considering Swansea have just won the exactly the same trophy without this so called global fanbase I will ask you the question again.

HOW ARE WE BENEFITING ON THE PITCH WITH A SO CALLED GLOBAL FANBASE.

can you prove that it would stabilise or improve us on the pitch without the so called global fanbase? factual evidence rather than your hearsay would be welcome.

be interesting to find out how many others think Jay Spearing although never good enough is far worse than Downing and Henderson from what we have seen of them.

I think it will be a good occasion for our adopted Irish fans to watch the team play in the flesh instead of on the telly, two famous old clubs who sadly and unfortunately now exist just on former glories, dont know how competative it will be though.

absolutely, they'll also appreciate playing in front of fans who fully appreciate getting the chance to see them, unlike the like of you who holds a season ticket (which is most likely a lie) and shows up just to moan about what you see. Players will enjoy the occasion

so does playing in front of fans who you say appreciate them, never see anything wrong in the Club and pretend everything is alrite really help the Club in the long run then, I say long run but for fans in the likes of Ireland, Bangkok, Singapore and Norway e.t.c. it has been proven that they do change Clubs quite regulary, going on kit sales anyway, Liverpool are bringing one out so it will probably be the number one seller this summer, City will bring one out next summer and the same fans will buy that and Chelsea the following season, they say fans from these types of countries just want to be seen to support English Premiership Clubs, which is fine as it generates money for a bit.
