I love Suarez he's one of my favourite ever LFC players, if he leaves then fair play and i hope he does fantastic and wins all he deserves at his next club. Once a red always a red you'll never walk alone as far as i'm concerned Luis

He can walk away and keep on walking. If he had spent the next 4 years with us and returned us to the CL he could of been classed as a legend.

Now his true colours have been shown and he is no different to Torres or Owen imo.

Maybe so, but in my opinion he's got more fight in him than the rest of our club put together. He has it all too, we should be fighting tooth and nail to keep him, have 2 pints with my next door neighbour who's a dirty Manc that he stays at Liverpool, just have a feeling he's come back from national duty and be a happy man again. Whether he leaves or not i'll always love him his tenacity is something that cant be replaced. If he goes to Madrid my bet is after 1 season he becomes more important that Ronnie, thats just how good he is in my view. Have u ever seen a player at the club who's as good as him since 1990? Take out Barnes and Macmanaman and i dont think i have.

and at the end of the 4 years we would feel great because you have achieved something which is back in the chapions league and what would he have to show for it. I'll tell you what would happen he hits 30 past his prime start declining and you same one brings in a younger fresh talent to replace him couple months later you sell him to a qpr or a small team for whatever money you can get. At that point he has no chance of winning anything and what would his football career achievement be, a legendary status in the minds of older folks who cold really care less to what happens to him.

Suarez is the only player in our squad that always gives 100%. Even the likes of Gerrard have occasions where they go through the motions during a game and look like they couldn't give a t0ss.
But no, a rumour spreads from a bored reporter that Suarez 'wants to leave' and some of the lesser educated and more gullible fans side with the tabloids (that we are supposed to hate?!), and label Surez a traitor.
If he was in 2 minds about staying with Liverpool, he only needs to read some of the comments on here and the decision is made for him.

We can't offer him champions league football.....we can't even offer him europa league football.....all he's got to keep him here is the fans that adore him.....but they've decided to side with the media that make him a scapegoat for all that is bad in the world. Who could blame him for wanting out?

The trouble is he's done it repeatedly. Consistently when he's away on Nation duty as well..

Would I like him to stay ofcourse. I followed him since he was at Ajax.

Is he a liability? Without doubt. Has he brought the club into disrepute? Yep.

Why are you saying it's a bored reporter's rumour? Unless Skynews has wrongly translated, I have actually seen the interview and he is saying he wants to leave because of his treatment from the media, he says he cannot take it anymore and both the manager and the players KNOW he is being badly treated by the media. He says that nobody supported him, I guess against the media, basically having to endure it alone (may be he expected open support in the press after the biting incident I don't know).

In any case, if Real Madrid and Bayern are coming for him, I see no reason for him wanting to stay and in those moments he will focus on all the negatives to justify his choice. For me the choice is made and he wants to play in a big ambitious club and I am dead sure that as soon a big club wants to sign any of our players, most of them if not all would want to leave. Just see what has been happening at Arsenal. FSG needs to understand that they need to show Big ambition first if they want to keep the Big players but we know they understand [oops] all or may be they just do not have the means.

He has shown to be the most gifted striker ever to play for Liverpool. and if he sticks around and is given good management mentoring off the field and decent midfield and wide support on the field, i have no doubt he could be the most successful striker Liverpool have ever had. His angry temperament is a blessing and a curse, because it gives him that fire and passion to beat opponents and score, and also gets him into trouble when he loses control. if liverpool had not been so lacking in talent and achievement perhaps Suarez would not be so aggressive and temperamental. He has been carrying this team for too long. The man is a rare talent, but has been poorly man managed. He will move on and mature, mellow his anger and become a supreme striker. It will be our loss.
