http://www.football365.com/news/21554/8742517/Perez-Bale-Was-Born-To-Play-In-Madrid- "Bale was born to play in Madrid."Seems they are trying to unsettle Gareth Bale. still can't see them forking out on both players though. He also said this about Suarez: "Suarez is a great player and I am sure all in the world would want him. I like him and others too, but it does not always fit."don't think Perez is the current president at Real Madrid but he's expected to be re-elected soon

Which probably means it depends if bale goes to Madrid. Can't see them spending £120 million on two players Hopefully monkeyboy will go to Madrid. I don't think I could suffer the sight of him in the PL another season. Obviously, taking the focus off Suarez to Madrid would give us an added incentive to see that happen. looks like Madrid are trying to sign a monkey and a greasy donkey then.

if suarez wants to leave to enhance his career then ok fine because liverpool are on a massive rebuilding programme , but i will not have this story about the press getting him out , sorry luis you have brought most of this press intervention by your own actions , yes a great player luis is but he has been trouble i hope he stays but he looks like he is off and great player he is no one not one player is bigger than LFC .

Who's even syaing that Suarez saying is 'bigger than lfc', faz???
EMP...alonso doesn't count because he was the manager. I'm not sure why the manager would sign another manager though, but I'm sure you've got your theories.....

I woulod like to debate whether the media has a role to play in the blame. I dont care about Dunks views on the topic, I respect them, but I disagree. Was Suarez racist in saying Negrito? Why was the hype around the Suarez Evra case so much bigger than around the Terry case? Why was Suarez convicted on hearsay? Because that was the popular decision at the time...it was not based on fact or evidence, but probability. That decision was made to appease the public, the public who were influenced by the media. So the MEDIA have a huge role to play. WHoever tries to tell me otherwise should try and experience it on their own skin.

cast your mind back to cantona's assault on a fan and ferdinand forgetting to take a drug's test......the media went after them with guns blazing. The club protected them though and the situation was 'managed'. It doesn't matter what the media do - it's how the situation is managed that will determine the outcome.
Suarez would have received the same media treatment no matter what (civilized) counttry he had been playing in. He has only himself to blame for how he is portrayed and he can't run away from that. That said, I'm a huge fan and hope he stays. I'm certain he'll stay.
