This seems fairly concrete. Lots of the media pushing the story. If he does want to leave for Madrid, maybe we take £50m off of them and spend big. yeah we can since carroll seems eager to return n prove at liverpool.we wont miss suarez :p

dont know why suarez opens his mouth , its got him into a lot of trouble in more ways this past season , yes he has done great when he played , but his absence possibly cost liverpool 6th place , now if he stays then ok he will do the good stuff and he will likely get banned again , but why he speaks out to the press like this i will never know you would think he would have learnt by now . yep totaly agree faz, fed up with him now. Can't wait for him to be sold now, it's got to the stage now that although he's a fantastic player on his day, the bad he does far outweighs the good, your just waiting for his next controversy.

your completely right, am gonna make a bold statement here, I reckon he has engineered this move with a delibrate bite so as to be able to get his move and not upset Liverpool fans at the same time, this statement released is just part of feathering his nest for his departure, it obviously has worked because you now have fans saying you can't blame him so job done for his PR guru.

How about you stop biting people then. Why is he blaming everyone but himself. As liverpool fans im sure we have all tried to justify his actions with the whole racism scenario that maybe did or didnt happen but the whole biting thing nobody can stick up for him about that. Im sorry but i think in pretty much every country if you bite someone on live tv your going to be ridiculed by the press.

when any player leaves no matter how good its important that the club gets the better end of the deal. I have no problem with Luis going but as long as we get the money and invest wisely. With Torres we got Suarez but sadly Carroll as well - verygood/very bad business.
with Mcmanaman and Owen we got nothing and buttons. Luis has been fantastic and his positives far outweigh his negatives. BR should get the best we can and invest in the team. It was Spurs selling Berbatove and Keane which got them into the top 4.
personally I think Suarez is 3rd choice to join Madrid behind Bale and Cavani.

i'm not sure it means for certain he will go this summer.
it does sound like a 'come and get me' plea to real madrid. but at the end of the day he's our player and if he loves the club as much as he says he does he'll appreciate that we stand our ground and get the best deal possible for our best player. i think the club should be demanding well over £50m for him because we don't want to sell plain & simple. spurs played hard ball over modric for 2 seasons and i think we should follow suit.
his comments are bang out of order in my opinion. he's using the english press as the reason for suffering when really he only has himself to blame. when ever i've watched match of the day or sky sports news i think collectively they all recognise him as a world class talent but also acknowledge he will always be at the heart of controversy. apart from the obvious attacks from moyes and pulls in the press for diving i really don't think they've been all that hard on him. he has to take responsibility for his actions and if he can't and is unsettled because of it, then it time for him to go.
i totally understand that the FA have been particularly hard on him and at times it does seem like he's fighting a losing battle, as if theres some sort of witch hunt against him. at the end of the day it was only evra's word against his that he made racist comments for a word that had a double meaning. if thats worth an 8 match ban then john terry should of got a lot more than a 4 match ban for being caught on camera making a racist comment to anton ferdinand.
no matter where in the world you are if you keep creating these incidents then prepare to face the consequences. simple as

personally i think considering the amount of times the club have supported him after silly incidents he owes us. we deserve to have him longer.
the amount of people who lost their jobs because the club decided to back him through the racism scandal etc. they've also backed him after biting ivanovic and defending him when every player, fan, manager and pundit was labelling him a diving cheat.
his comments have really stirred things up in the press and unless he has some crazy turn around like how gerrard did before his proposed move to chelsea then i can only really see one outcome.
blaming the english press for wanting to leave is a bad way to go about it in my opinion. if he loves the club and the fans that much it wouldn't effect him. then to basically make a 'come and get me' plea to real madrid is out of order.
not sure if this release clause rumour is true hopefully not. if it was me i'd be demanding £60m.
