ok well then i am sorry for reacting so strongly in that case but it was extremely offensive to me
btw you have to remember that groundstaff and players all talk to friends and family ..... babel is known as a bit of a whiner and whinger and not in any sense a grafter ...... shame because he has pace and potential but not the attitude nor the application ...... he doesn't even try and work on his obvious weaknesses on the training pitch ..... he seems to think he is already the finished article
though i have to say in one sense you do have a point - he might well be better with a run of games but it is hardly the right message to send out to the rest of the squad is it? no need to bother trying to improve your game coz babel didn't and he is getting games ..... best for all if we just got rid and gave one of the kids a chance in his position ie pacheco or dalle valle or amoo

Just think the whole problem with Babel is that he is a player that plays off the cuff and likes to express himself and unfortunately when you have a manager who is a control freak and would rather players fit into a system like robots you are never going to be treated as fairly as some player like Kuyt who follow everyone of the waiter's instructions to the letter.

i agree with pacheco, hes class.
I just think perhaps babel is like he is because of the way rafa has treated him. I think we will all have to agree that he hasnt been treated fairly. he has scored 2 goals this year in the prem with only 3 starts and a few 10 mins here or there. Ngog must have started 10+ and his sub appearences and he only has 4
so for goals per minute on the pitch he is miles better. With babel i find he can be an irritating player with duff passes and losing possesion, but he can sometimes pull off something spectacular. he clearly has ability, I would just like for him to have chance to prove it
babel reminds me of a young thierry Henry. he was awful in his first season, but Wenger stuck with him because he had potential.
We all know the rest................
dont get me wrong im not saying he will ever play to that level but i do believe he has the ability to be our second best striker

two points - first to ged - molby proved he was top class on the pitch with his ability, different case altogether, babel has a poor first touch, can't pass, his shooting is wayward and he has no idea when or where to run off the ball .... that is why he should be putting the effort in on the training pitch to improve
secondly to jammer - babel is nowhere near the second best striker at the club - pacheco, dalle valle and eccleston are all far better ...... i do agree though that egg nog is getting far too much leeway - but then maybe rafa thinks the same about him that wenger did about henry and wants to stick with him?

Babel has'nt helped himself during his time at Liverpool but having said that he has been treated disgracefuly by the waiter, I honestly think if he had been given the same chances and treatment as the waiters golden child Dirk Kuyt we would all be watching a different player by now. i agree babel hasn't helped himself but still the waiter has not give him a run of games , but he persevered with crouch and lucas and kuyt when they all played bad and needed to be taken out the team .

I jus wish we gdt a manager who doesnt have favourites, who believes in player(s), who is not scared to make changes(right ones) when needed.

The modern game doesn't allow for the kind of luxury player anymore, players need to work as well as express themselves. Also....we are talking about Babel here, he's not a clever/creative player and he is no twinkle toes who is going to dribble round 5 players, he is quick and powerful (with a poor touch in my opinion) and needs to put a shift in regardless of where on the pitch he plays upfront or out wide.
