Liverpool are reported to have accepted a bid in the region of £15 million for the England international.

West Ham have agreed a fee with Liverpool for striker Andy Carroll but the player has yet to decide if he wants to join the Hammers permanently.

The London side will match Liverpool's asking price of around £15m, but the 24-year-old Englishman is unsure about the move ahead of a World Cup year.

It is understood interest from former club Newcastle United has cooled

The fee of 15 million has been agreed but this is still far from a done deal. Rumours of Andy being unsure whether he wants to make the deal permanent aswell as that he is waiting for newcastle to make a move and that he is waiting for a club in european competition. I will wait till he signs for them. But if we get 15 mil, I'm ok with that.

£15m is.a good deal I would be happy with that.

I kind of like Carroll but we could use the 15 million more than we could use him unfortunately. With Suarez and Sturrdige I don't see him getting much game time so I'll definitely take the 15 mill and wash our hands of this whole debacle.

I'd take their hand off at the shoulder for this deal, coming right at the start of the window, if FSG would now put in 40 - 50m we can sign a few quality players, hope Andy doesn't mess it up for us by taking forever to make his decision to accept whatever terms he can negotiate.

Good sign that we're trying to getting the deal done early, even if it is for a player leaving rather than coming in. Hopefully its a sign of things to come

I like carroll but its obvious rodgers doesnt rate him or see him as part of his plans,
15mil is a good deal in my opinion coulld use that money for eriksen or papadopoulus.

I'm just wondering what is forcing West Ham to make a move so early on... Could the reported interest from newcastle, Monaco be true? Are there other interested parties?
