What about these referees guys? have we got a single decision this season where you think "we got away with one there"? i can't think of one, tonight the ref bottled it on the free/pen at the end knowing he was gonna have to send captain munchkin off having booked him seconds before. afro c@$t and steven p3nis should have got straight reds in the derby match. the scums 2nd top scorer this season is mr o.g. with TEN goals WTF. They say these things even themselves out over the season - if this is the case then we're home on a boat cause i think we're due a pen a match and a sending off in our last twelve games. The standard of reffing this season is without a shadow of doubt the worst i can remember in over 30 years - these guys simply don't have a clue. whats it gonna take for action? a manager to withdraw the team at halftime cause the ref in incompetant and the match to be abandoned ala AC Milan?!?!? i mean COME ON, would ferrari spend £500m on their car for the new F1 season to hand it over to barry chuckle or stevie wonder to drive - fed up with this [oops] BIG TIME.

I agree with doh if i was at any of these games id prob get my self arrested due to sheer frustration at the sh!t quality of refereeing its clear that there is a scandal against Liverpool they wont give us any thing in the form of a penalty unless its really clear and even then I've seen that not happen this season...

As for you merv i think you should keep praying for a new owner with loads of money who loves the club and grew up as a local.

You are dreaming the only ones loaded in england are the Russian's smile lets hope that group from Dubai or the Indian billionaire buys us. I cant see it happening unless the RBS forces the American's to sell for less.

Refs do a tough job but like anyone else can make mistakes. But the regularity of their mistakes is becoming alarming. The standard of the refs in the late 80s and early 90s were so much better.

I still feel they should put their hand up and apologize if they get things wrong rather than hide behind the FA

It was outside the area anyway. I think you miss the point, we played so badly. How many shots did we have on target? That was a match of 2 poor teams playing poorly.

Except for a few games, we have played badly for most of the season. this game is a tough one and they played ok. Could have been better but Arsenal really wanted it. And Degen screwed up the marking...

it was only outside the area because fabregas moved forward, if you look at the rest of the wall they are on the line and on the line is inside which means pen!!

gerrard is on sky web today talkin about it. i kind of agree with him because i actually saw webb saying it to the liverpool wall earlier in the game, "dont put your arms up, i'll penalise you for it". if Webb was making a point of cracking down on it in the game in question then he should have been looking out for it.
