Great result yesterday without Suarez, Gerrard and Agger. Hear, hear. So, by the looks of it, we now have 5 real quality players in our first team. If we can add 2 more players in Coutinho's ilk this summer, then we should definitely be challenging for top 4 and have a decent cup run or 2.

I'll admit I had my doubts about him being selfish and a sulky player.
I did say back when we signed him that 10 goals would be a good start and would go some way to change my opinion of him.
Yeah when he's good, He's very good. But does suffer from spells of inconsistency still.
I'd give him a solid 8 out of 10 which is very good.
Let's see how he does with a full pre-season under his belt.
Whoever it was that said those 2 signings Sturridge and Coutinho are our best since 2007. I totally agree. They have both came in made an impact and hopefully will only get better.
With the latest developments on the blue side of town and the red half of manchester going down in the last week it certainly makes things that much more interesting moving forward.
Although I'd rather fans focus on our side of the pitch and not whats going on elsewhere.

I think some people look to find faults on Daniel rather then look at his qualities. His come in put his head down and played well.
What I seen on here is
He grumbles a lot (not seen that yet)
Selfish and wont pass to others (His a striker and they all like that, look at Luis, also he has 4 assists since Jan)
Hate him dancing? (What the **** he cant dance 30 times next season thats 30 goals he would of scored, his a entertainer)
To be fair I didnt expect much from him when we signed him but the way he has carried himself on and off the pitch has given me a bit more pride as a Liverpool fan.

Absolutely fantastic and likely to just get better. He and Phillipe have been inspired signings. A few more of them and we might be looking at a proper good side capable of challenging.
I honestly think next season we will get top 4 and the season after we will put up a decent fight for the title.
Don't see Moyes making top 4 next season.
Think Everton will be fighting a relegation battle.
Spurs will be average when Bale leaves.
Chelsea to win (Mourinho effect)
City 2nd
Arsenal 3rd (if they keep Wenger)

As one of the few who championed the prospect of Liverpool signing Sturridge, I'm delighted by how well he has done since joining in January.
The jury is still out obviously, as with Coutinho because I'd like to evaluate both players performances after a full season but on what we've seen so far I'd have to give them both a solid 7-8/10

im still not convinced by him. no doubting his ability, but he can be wasteful, sulky, goes missing and it will be interesting to see him over the course of another season when the pressure is really on.

Flames where did you get this sulky idea from? The wasteful and missing part can also be aim at Suarez in a few games this season

he was invisible against everton and scored a hatrick gainst crappy fulham. its next season b4 he can be properly judged but he is a better player than I thought he was. still waiting for a big sulk moment - u can tell he has it in him Why can't he be judged now?? And what makes you think he has a 'big sulk' in him - has he had them before? EMP is the only one sulking as far as I have seen.
