Who are you to say that Faz? Who are you to say they wouldn't have won twice as much under either of those managers?

well its fergson who has made the difference they would have went and got howard Wilkinson or bruce rioch or terry venables so they would not have had the success they had under ferguson .

You would never know this and nobody says that we would have beaten MU in the finals or Fergie would have been sacked even if we did.

and vish it was the start of the decline , the last title season the team got broken up the club didnt move on not just on the pitch but off it , but united did because liverpool allowed it , in 1990 united were a ragbag of a team .

Were a club, a team, something maybe you haven't been apart of before u poor divil, win as a team, lose as a team and fall as a team. Dont point the finger at 1 single person, it was the club who fell into decline collectively not Kenny Dalglish, sounds to me like your very bitter faz

i am not bitter i am factual , the club did allow man utd to grow , because it allowed the grass to grow under its feet , dalglish , robinson , white and later parry allowed this , and if you think its wasnt that then you are very deluded , thats why since 1990 a succession of managers and owners spending millions hasnt took liverpool to the league title , and the decline started in 1990 with that game at villa park and in 1990/91 dalglish dropped beardsley at arsenal played 8 defenders got battered 3-0 giving arsenal the title virtually sorry dalglish did start the decline .

Paul Robinson as the one who didn't develop the club/stadium and did not take advantage of our clout when we were up there, kept Souey too long and sold to H&G instead of the arabs for a few bucks more. Yes, maybe, KD was losing it (pressure was too big for him) AT THE END OF HIS LAST SEASON IN THE 90S, but, we had all the time in the world to correct it.

Sorry, yes, Peter Robinson, the then majority owner who ends up being the better off after all, even better than H&G and FSG and of course the fans
