KING KEN knocked Liverpool off it's perch not Fergie, as Faz says Dalglish lost the plot big time towards the end of his reign in his first stint as manager, Jimmy Carter and David Speedie anyone, the Palace semi was the watershed, four centre halfs on the pitch and two full backs on the bench says it all, he even used to drop Peter Beardsley in favour of an extra centre half against Wimbledon, he was the first Liverpool manager i ever knew who sent a team out worrying about what the opposition was going to do first rather than what we were going to do, the man should never have his name sung atv Anfield in my opinion, disgrace. [/quote]

Yeah, Kennys the disgrace, the man who won every trophy worth a mention with and for us, the man who fought tooth and nail for the justice campaign, yeah he's the disgrace alright cool, not our own fans who abuse him and throw back in his face all he achieved for us. Its the likes of you who let this club down, not him.

Even if he started it, it was what 1 season, 2 seasons max, even Fergie has had a few bad seasons, one bad season and 2 bad signings does not kill a team, use your grey matter a bit.

we are talking soley about the reason we find ourselves in the position we do to this day and one of the main reasons is King Ken and yes the word I would use is disgrace for throwing away such a position of strenghth which we had before, just my opinion i may add, I think its just fans who have been supporting the club 5 mins and dont remember the damage Dalglish did the first time around when they put him on such a pedastal.

Hardly had anything to do with United having more to play for as they wanted to top us, more funding which got them better players along with better revenue, our fall isn't down to 1 man our fall from grace is down to numerous things and to blame it on one man is immature and stupid.

So basically what you are saying is, IF we had beaten Crystal Palace, then, we would have beaten United in the FA cup, then, Fergie would have been sacked, then, MU would not have got another good manager, then, we would have won all the cups in the world, Wow, all that because of one bloody game. You should try to write a book...story book for kids.

Yes, that is what he's saying Vish, sounds to me like the old timers on here are finally reunited as cool is aloud back , and now their having a depressing reminicince of the good times, kinda like the stereotype our fans get, always looking at the past and what not, well meet faz, cool and stan, koptalks favourite old timers. If we achieve something huge in the modern day to them its not good enough as we did that and more in the past, then if you correct them they undermine you with "you'd have to be a liverpool fan only 5 mins if u didn't know...", same shiit different day

well its fergson who has made the difference they would have went and got howard Wilkinson or bruce rioch or terry venables so they would not have had the success they had under ferguson .
