Completely agree with cooler and faz. Dalglish and our poor boards of directors are the reason we are where we are today. Most people who say otherwise have only started following the club in the past 10 years or so. To be fair to dalglish after he left in 1991 the club had ample time to put things right but failed to do so.

sorry vish your wrong mate dalglish and liverpool made it easy for united and you mention chelsea leeds etc etc they didnt dominate like united and didnt and never will overtake LFC but united did and have because LFC and dalglish allowed it to happen , not looking into the future allowing the grass to grow under the feet of the club, as cooler says that semi final was a watershed game the decline started there .

I honestly think Dalglish took the Blackburn job in some ways to spite Liverpool and Peter Robinson for not offering him it before Souey, his book says as much if you read between the lines.

Spent loads yes, just like the special one and Mancini, in fact, before Abromavich and the Sheiks, Manure was the biggest spending club. Yes, you can blame KD for having left LFC, but, he said it, he couldn't take the pressure then, I cannot blame him for that.

He had a point to prove, and proved it completely by getting Blackburn to win the EPL, Souey was definitely crap.
