How much truth is in this, will be huge if he does pack it in, great manager but hypocrite of a human being, hope Moyes gets the job as it will push United back 8 years

Actually I think the Scottish thing is the only link between these 2. Moyes has never beaten Chelsea, Man utd, Liverpool or Arsenal away from home..well apparently, thats what teh commentator said the other day. I was surprised...but it seems its true... He has bought well, but the step from management of a mid table team to management of a top table team is a big one, and if not afforded time, will hardly ever work out. I dont think the man utd fans would give him that time.

I also have questions about how succesful he would be if in all his years he never managed an away win to a top 4 side, perhaps he would if afforded the time and utd's squad, but I have my doubts.

well he was robbed a win against us on sunday.

plus his team have played well away at the top 4 lots of times. just one of those things,like rush never scoring against utd -until he did.

going on the commitment his side show, the quality signings he has made and his vast experience in the prem -he would be certainly my pick.

Apparently Fergie wants him to work alongside him next season as an understudy...not as an assistant but yeah potatoe potato....Either way, I dont think MOyes has the quality...

With Rumours about managerial changes at both Manchester Clubs (Moyes to United, Pellegrini to City), Chelsea (Mourinho?) and Everton (Maybe Martinez if Wigan go down?) there could be a lot of rival teams near the top of the table having a transitional season next year so it could be a good time for the likes of us, Spurs or Arsenal (If Wenger stays and spends money which I think he will) to maintain a bit of stability and really try to press on - potentially a big transfer window ahead for us, there may not be a better time to really go for it.

Calm down. Our owners won't spend any money not generated by first selling some good assets.

Unless we do lose Hannibal I can't see us spend much this summer. After all we did our trick 2 years ago when we signed like never before (Carroll, Downing, Henderson - remember?)...

And when he does, if the appoint Moyes it'll be a mistake. Never got the fuss about a manager who has won nothing but done ok with a mid table club. Remind you of a manager that most don't like?

I fully expect to see that stupid [oops] jump around like a 10 year old when they score next year and to make my blood boil when the hypocritical side comes out.
