My mate got the kick off time wrong (thought it was 2pm kick off) plus roadworks on the lancs only arrived twenty minutes after the game kicked off. So missed the Kop,s tribute to the Everton fans saying thanks.

What a lovely gesture

No love lost after that and we were hemmed in by the Everton fans after the game some unsavoury chanting but no trouble. But underneath we are all on the same side good to see and the Everton fans clapping just watching it in the news now.

Yeah they showed their appreciation alright didn't they, with yet more scummy songs. No suprise considering half of them are also cousins with their brothers/sisters, ungrateful tw@ts.

I tell you another thing. Last season half time they were 10 deep at half time in the refreshment place. Now you can wander up and get served within a few minutes. Prices as you expect extortionate I think with the ticket prices people are adjusting not spending elsewhere. Watch the merchandising be discounted in a month or two.

Do people still buy merchandise???

I haven't bought a single thing in 5 / 6 years, at least.
I leave it for the kiddies.

Bought the year before, not last year and probably not next season, not happy with the direction the club took buying cheaper younger player don't think we will compete for top position with this, however, they did spend well in the Jan window, will see how it goes in summer before buying again.

Also, cannot get a genuine shirt in Mauritius, when it was Adidas, could but it in the Adidas shop, but with Warrior, it's just not available.

I'm not a fan of brainwashing people to buying football merchandise, or having any sort of culture imposed on them for commercial gain.

This might be a little controversial, but when we see pictures of Malaysian, Chinese or whoever shouting and screaming LFC... and those people who live thousands of miles awvy and have LFC themed weddings, there's something very sad about that. To me it's brainwvshing... not much different to that and being a moony (if I've spelt that correctly).

Yes, people have a choice, but the fact that somehow they've lost control of their mental faculties and become mental slaves is very sad.

I think we should all be proud if fans In China, India, wherever are screaming and shouting for LFC, I have been all over the place and have hardly ever seen anyone in other countries (except Austria) wearing a Bayern or Dortmund top, I think sometimes we seem to forget that the club wouldn't be where it is/was with just local support. And before anyone says, I am not arguing, just placing a point of view. wink

If they are happy with it, why should you be sad about it? Everyone has his own perspective of happiness, and as long as it doesn't interfere/disturb other peoples lives, it shouldn't be questioned in my view. My wife thinks that I am mad because of my reaction when I watch LFC, does it mean that I should be sad about this, don't think so, SP ans Faz spend a huge chunk of their income to go to games, it's their choice, so who am I to judge.
