Holy crap. A month ago, if anyone had old me that any team could beat Barcelona that badly twice, I would have laughed. German footbal has been on the rise for a few years now. Barcelona no longer look the team to beat. I have never seen them look so completely outclassed before.

I'm thinking exactly the same thing. The reason Spain have been so strong in the past decade is largely because with the exception of Casillas, Ramos & Alonso (maybe a few others), they all train and play together week-in, week-out with Barcelona. You look at Bayern’s team now, with the addition of Gotze, it is predominantly made up of the German national team, not to the extent of Barca, but it’s going to help them a hell of a lot. My only other bet would be Brazil, just because it’s home turf for them which always give an advantage with both atmosphere and weather/ conditions.

Brazil, Argentina & Uruguay are all good shouts. It will be interesting to see what Bayern's form/ domination is like over the next year, they are Europe's best bet I think. More likely is a S.American win though.
