Reina, ? Didn't really have anything to do but was trying to get the ball away quickly and made a few saves.
Johnson, 7. Was ok, got a bit heated at times but was pretty solid on attack.
Enrique, 7. Solid, defended pretty well, kept Newcastles quick players quiet.
Carragher, 8. Had Cisse in his pocket the whole game. How has he found his form again?
Agger, 8. Good runs, moved the ball from the back well and scored a good goal. Defended well to.
Lucas, 7. Solid effort, helped keep Newcastles midfield quiet and broke up attacks.
Gerrard, 7. Didn't really notice him too much to be honest, quiet game from him, but keep things ticking.
Henderson, 9. Good game, worked tirelessly. Scored two vert good goals and got an assist. Very good game.
Downing, 7. Didn't do a lot on the ball, but I noticed his work off the ball and he was very good at stopping their attacks.
Coutinho, 9. Pulled the strins, looks class and for the price we got him for, could be the bargain of the year. Looks better than Oscar.
Sturridge. 9. Took his goals well, held the ball up well and linked up well. He is striving under Rodgers.
