I know the lad gets a lot of stick on here but heres just a few stats showing he's actually been one of our stand out players
Of the 10 midfielders in the last few England squads, only Lampard has scored/assisted more than Henderson.
Lampard has a goal/assist every 132 minutes, Henderson 142, Gerrard 174, Milner 227, Ox Chamberlain 243, Osman 429 and Young, Carrick, Parker and Cleverley are way down the list too.
I know stats can make any argument look good and you have to take in to account it looks as though Henderson creates more than Gerrard but Gerrard has played alot more and from a deeper role and is still our top goal creator, but it shows Hendo has improved and i know for a fact Downing will never look like a £20 million player and Carrol will never look a £35 million player, but i do think Henderson in the future will become a £16 million player easily, if the improvements continue consistently in to next season of course.
