I wonder if he thinks 10 games is to much, would love to hear his opinion on that.

He is also an individual citizen in addition to being PM but he is the PM and thats the overriding issue , if gordon brown made a similar comment last week it would mean nothing same as if john major commented means nothing , but if the PM makes a comment well it carries weight and you know this .

yet he doesn't add any moral issue to the rich rich F1 guys. come off it. cheap opportunism .
people in bahrain were getting shot and its a matter for F1. some foreigner bites someone and the FA should be moralistic.

Of course it does but there is nothing wrong in what he said given he was asked for his opinion

Stan, I agree he is entitled to an opinion but I also think a person in his position should keep it out of the media because like it or not he has influence being the leader of that country

Faz if he had said Suarez should get the maximum ban possible then I would agree with you. All he said was its a matter for the FA and footballers are role models. Any of the current past and present labour leaders would have said something similar.
It's a non issue

Stan he may be an individual citizen as well as PM and as such is entitled to his opinion, however he was not being asked as an individual citizen he was asked as PM and therefore "his opinion" was that of PM.Secondly his comments were made just to pick up easy cudos from the country especially since most footie fans hate Suarez so he just went with the flow(media etc).In addition he should try spending a little more time trying to get Qatada out of the country rather than Suarez. If Suarez had been English would he have said anything. Also when asked he should have stated that he would not comment until the panel had come to it's judgement

A question, who decided that footballers are role models, why would you want your children to look up to a footballer, maybe 30 or 40 years ago, longer perhaps, but nowadays no way.
