I can understand your point if he raised it in the House of Commons or held a press conference specifically on this issue. But he was asked by a journalist what else could he do other than say no comment or lie ?
but stan he cant on certain issues it influences others you know that and he could have easily deflected it , he has never commented on other issues , IE millwall fighting at wembley , stockport fans attacking there own players even suarez and terry racist issues sorry mate he should stick to the issues of the country not a suarez , well all know suarez was a divvy and bang out of order , but its nothing to do with cameron , stan you let your self down mate because if it was blair or brown i know you would be up in arms , but a tory PM suddenly he is the champion of morals well he is not and no PM should influence things like this .

No I would be the same with a labour mp. If asked they should give an honest answer. But I agree with you if Cameron had raised it himself but not if asked by a journo

True, it is almost an abuse of power, the man with the highest office in the country should pick and choose his comments wisely.

I don't disagree with that but every comment about anything is a matter of opinion.

asked about the Bahrain GP going ahead despite human right violations - Cameron insisted: “It’s a matter for Formula One.”

totally correct and that goes for any PM , imagine the queen commenting on it would it not carry weight i think it would , when your in positions like PM , or a high ranking minister sorry you need to comment properly because your comments carry weight .

He can comment but he should have a balanced view ubtil the case is over, would he comment on a serious court case before judgement?

Did he not say with Suarez it's a matter for the FA ?

In addition to the role model comments.

I can't see anything wrong with what he said given he was asked
