I honestly can't think of anything more intimidating in football than playing in front of 80 or 90 thousand opposition fans.

After watching the memorial today i just had to give Mr Kenwright and Everton football club a mention. i was touched by the show of support for the families today by him,Everton and david Moyes. He spoke lovely words of support today and for me it showed that the people of the city and its two main clubs can come together in times like this i know they have always shown support but today seemed to show a special bond.He said if ever us lot wanted to come over to their place to remember the 96 together then we will always be welcome and the doors would be left open. That made me think seriously about ground share, its not easy for me to say but if we can all show support to each other as they have over Hillsborough then maybe, just maybe we should consider ground share.Am i just saying this because of the emotion of today or do i/you really feel its possible on an emotional level? I know its practical financially and all that but emotions have to come into it for me,could we give up our very own ground? Anyway well done to Mr Kenwright. I fear it might be the emotion Liverbird, I suspect when you get back to your good self again you'll think why should a mighty club like Liverpool ever have to share a ground with anybody, even compatible neighbours like Everton. Are we now prepared to accept permanent underdog status to the likes of United, City, Arsenal, etc? Doesn't seem all that long ago since we lorded over all of them. I say no! We should demand that FSG keep us up with our competitors on all fronts including the stadium, if they can't or won't do that then we should ask them to move on. Any owner who fails to competitively address the stadium issue has no business running a club like LFC, and by the way I don't consider a redevelopment of 60,000 seats as competitive either, given the seating capacity of our main competitors. LFC fans should fight on all fronts and never raise the white flag when it comes to competition with our competitors. I say; keep the faith!

Question - how do you ask FSG to move on?

A groundshare would be the perfect way to seal the bond between both clubs. We hate each other, but we also love each other too much down to family ties. And if we want to compete with the rest of the country, it would be illogical not to combine forces and put a 90k stadium together. That could be our life line back to the very top. But as Stan said, no subsidies for them. 50-50 deal.
I feel that it's time we put aside selfish aspirations for the greater good of our future.

I don't think it has anything to do with fighting spirit. It's brains over brawn. Think of how much recurring cash flow we will have from gate receipts to compete in the transfer windows. We take the money and invest in world class players to compete on the field. That's where we should put our fighting spirit. Not over what's mine and what's yours.
