At the end of the day, like it or not, Liverpool FC may not just be a football club, they're a football club and a business and thats about it no matter how nostaligic we get Marko

Great post Bohey...as far as Begovic and Richards are concerned, i agree with you 100%. Many have mentioned Mignolet but I think Begovic is a better keeper to be honest. Also, Micah Richards, I wanted him at LFC way back in the day and I would still love to have him at the club, I think he is a great player.

That's true Horgo, and it should be run as such, however, the people that run it should run it as such, we as fans should do our bit to keep that "special" feeling about the club.

And does that fan include John Henry ? I bet that seat at Anfield is worn out from all the use this season.

Cheers.

Wouldn't mind Mignolet either TBH. Both him and Mignolet are very good keepers. Both in their mid twenties which is still very young for a keeper.

Both having good seasons and although I haven't watched many of their games, from highlights and match reports I don't remember practically any clangers this season from either!

Unlike Pepe.........

Reina was mustard three years back back has deteriorated and very rarely does any player recapture their very best form. Players tend to either maintain their best level or just decline fast or slow.

Fair play to Pepe. He has picked up his levels recently but then again, he may be thinking Barca may come knocking as V Valdes is off in the summer.

That would suit us really. Reina goes home. Joins a better team. Gives him a chance to win some trophies and he is still young enough (in the keeper sense) to earn us a good fee.

This could easily be a good summer for us if we recycle some of our higher value (but under-performing) assets for quality replacements who are hungry to begin the next cycle of LFC's development!

That would still see improvements in the first team nad leave our kitty for extra quality.
