The fact that a professional football club can't afford Spearing's salary proves that their is something very wrong in football. Very true and there is something wrong with football which is what I have been trying to tell you players wages are out of control. And the likes of me are in the front line of tthat.

Very true and there is something wrong with football which is what I have been trying to tell you players wages are out of control. And the likes of me are in the front line of tthat. Stan, the world has changed and is still moving. We'll be left behind if we don't do anything to catch up. The only thing that is truly constant is change.

He will end up at somewhere like Reading/Sunderland when/if they go down or Leicester or somewhere similar looking to push on next season. He is Championship level. No more than that.

Indeed, I think we lost last year's FA cup final because we had to play him with both Lucas and Adam out injured. Was very unhappy with his performance though he really loves LFC.
