What can i say "Sorry" you failed. told you why he has done well with the crap squad from dalglish a team that only win six games at home and only score 44 league goals all season , plus lost the likes of kuyt, bellamy and maxi , yes the cups were not great but the league has been exactly as i predicted with the crap squad he inherited .

Indeed, and I would argue that his arguments as to why he's a bad manager are much "weaker" than your arguments as to why he's decent.

So he inherits a crap squad, spends about 25m to improve the crap squad in summer, buys Allen and Borini who are at least as crap if not worse. Basically he gets 25m to improve but the players he inherited are the first names in his team ahead of the players he bought to improve. Great logic.

Maybe he bought in a few players he believed would come better in the future. He didn't really have his scouts set up, so probably went for players he had high hopes in. To be fair on the fella, during the jan transfer window, he did pretty well, and this is after he's had time to see how players respond to his game under more pressure and over a season.
