"it happens".. yeah in every single game after we win convincingly and always against a "small" team, bullsh!t i tell ya!
#BRout No, we don't lose everytime after we win convincingly. We just won 4 in a row for the first time in years. We beat wigan and Swansea much more convincingly than Spurs. Did you really expect us to go from mid-table mediocrity to top 4 overnight? You're being unreasonable. We have a very young side that is still very much finding it's feet, and we still have a handfull of squad players that really aren't good enough. He hasn't had enough time to replace the mediocre players he inherited. Lucas and Carra had poor games last week, so they were dropped. Reina's hurt. Allen was decent last week, so he got another try at the position he was brilliant at for the beginning of the season. No manager we can attract to this club will change that in a season.

I agree KP, look lads if its not clear im bloody fuming then i dont know how to make it anymore obvious, tomorrows another day im sure il be in a better mood, but you know how it is its bloody sickening keeping the faith all these years to have it thrown back at u, always saying to myself "well next weeks another game" or "ah there's always next season" etc. I just want to be back in with the elite!! Well we all want that. Whining won't make it come any sooner, and sacking another manager isn't working for Chelsea who are considerably richer than us, and it certainly won't work for us. I still think BR was the right choice, and I think he's working with very little here. Give the man a bloody chance.

Typical result for us, soon as we look decent and that we might make a run of it we get battered by a low league side. It's getting very tiring to watch. Having said that I still have faith in Rodgers and feel we are progressing over last season.

Ah look lads i dunno, i've calmed down considerably since i started this thread and have medicated quiet a bit to, as i said i'm just an angry red tonight usually i'm more optimistic than even joecool but yeah i do actually think we should keep BR just frustrated to the last now with this happening. What to do? Do we splash 100s of millions like City and Chelsea and end up with (arguably) more inconsistent performances than we currently have or do we spend like Villa but nurture our young players hoping for the next Steve Mac, God, Owen, Stevie or Carra? I dont know. I do know though we have a good young squad and if we add to it whilst getting rid of some (maybe) deadwood i.e Skrtel, Downing, Carrol, Spearing, Reina (?) etc. and replace them with 6 or 7 top class future or current internationals, better than our current internationals, we can be a top side no doubt, but the down fall to this for me is i've been following since i was 7 or 8 which is only about 12 or 13 years ago and already i'm sick of this "building on to the squad to mount a proper challenge next season" nonsense. Its driving me nuts, supporting Liverpool FC is the only true way to show your not a glory hunter, just as were on the edge of glory we completly fall apart (Bar the likes of Dortmund 01, Istanbul 05, Cardiff 06 etc.) and its as i said truly driving me nuts. Faz speaks alot about the St. Ethienne game in 90 or 91 not sure the exact year was only one or two years before i was born, and the big cup finals through the 80s and all the European cup nights that he got to experience and i know that this is the same club as back then and i know we can get back to that, but i'm waiting along time now and very frustrated in the League even when we were in top 4 it was frustrating not getting near the top each season, over the last decade we've gone from top 4 and wanting to push and win the league, to top 7 wanting to retain UEFA cup and push for Champions League. We need something to stop the rut and quickly. Is Rodgers that man? I'm not sure but he will get his chance and i hope he is the man to do it.

He'll get the backing this summer from FSG, and if he doesn't, they won't have to force him out. He can just leave.
I'd give Allen and Borini another chance.

Give Rodgers TIME! To do what? I think to many people have fallen for the Rodgers Bullsh1t! He has no history,he has limited tactics, his substitutions are shocking (most of the time),he talks to much and when the team start losing he always looks like a rabbit in the headlights on the touchline, but yeah, give him time!!!!!!!

As I posted on another thread
I don't want BR to leave.
But if your asking who could replace BR if push came to shove.
1) Rafa 2) Klopp 3) Deschamps 4) Laurent Blanc (even though he played for Utd) 5) Karl Robinson (M K Dons - really rate him as a manager, only 32) 6) A cheeky bid of Moyes out of contract in the summer 7) Perhaps see if Jose Mourinho wants a real challenge.
Lots of options if BR goes however I would prefer to keep him.
With Moyes out of contract with Everton in the summer, does anyone think we may make a cheeky bid for him?
