I cant do that either though? What dont we need right now? I look at our squad and only Suarez would get in to the top 4 sides, maybe Johnson and Gerrard but certainly nobody else imo.
Downing and Henderson have been very impressive the last 4 months but again i cant picture them in City, Chelsea, United or Arsenals squad, jury still out on Daniel and Cortina, Allen certainly wouldn't get in any of them, Skrtel either, maybe just maybe Enrique would get in the Arsenal side, maybe Lucas to.
But i think as good as Downing has been we need better to start and maybe even better for the bench, same goes for Henderson although he has time on his side, dont speak to me about Allen please think he hasn't been good in a while maybe its this shoulder injuries fault though

i can see agger getting in to skrtel and agger getting into arsenal team. i think coutiho would make it into the arsenal team is well

At least 1 centre back to replace Carragher
Defensive midfielder
Right sided inside forward/winger
And then if we could bring in more I would have a player that could cover at centre back and left back, and a backup/young keeper as Doni left so we only really have Jones, the rest would depend on departures - a first choice keeper if Reina goes, centre back if Skrtel goes and a striker if Carroll goes.
2013/14 Squad:
GK: Reina or new first choice, Jones and Young backup keeper
RB: Johnson, Kelly, Wisdom
CB: Agger, New signing, Skrtel or new signing, Coates
LB: Enrique, Robinson, New Signing?
DM: Lucas, New Signing (or Spearing?)
Playmaker: Gerrard, Allen
CM: Henderson, Shelvey
LW: Coutinho, Sterling, Assiadi(may leave?)
AM: Suarez, Suso
RW: Downing, New Signing?
ST: Sturridge, Carroll or new signing?, Borini
Would allow flexibility in the formations available and cover/competition for each place, especially as some players can cover multiple positions but it could depend on European qualification and any transfer or loan departures (Reina? Skrtel/Coates? Spearing? Assiadi/Downing? Henderson/Shelvey? Carroll?)

We actually need back up for RB, back up for LB, 2 centre backs, a good solid holding midfielder to play alongside Lucas (novelty player, not exactly needed right now) we need a good box to box midfielder, another quality winger and another striker, this is going to take 2 or 3 years imo and i dont have that much patience. FSG get the cheque book out for BR like u did with Kenny and Damian Back up for RB when we have Kelly and Wisdom waitin? With tour plan, by the time we get the players we need to change the rest. I think our 3 priorities are 1 centre back (assuming Skrtl stays and if he leaves one more), 1 left full back as a cover for Enrique and a defensive midfielder who is good on the ball like Viera, Y.Toure, Lucas is struggling but needs a back up anyway.

A box to box mid would be the main one I'd want to see come in - not to replace Stevie as such as he can play DM and give Lucas competition for places.
Centre Half is a must.
