100 million for an injury prone striker is good business in anybodies book, the only problem would be is if the new manager does'nt receive the cash for transfers.

No Football should be about desire and dedication, not money, that's why it has been ruined

Of course you would accept, the guy is a genius as a footballer, but 100m for gods sake cop on, if that was the deal you take it. The spanish waiter ( I take no joy in the dicription, but it does some it up is a spent force. So long as the money goes back to the club then take it, but not as a downpayment to the banks. The man has been an injury nightmare and i dont see it getting any better. Take the money, get rid of Benitez, and start agin for the fifth time and cross the fingers.
But for god sake get o'neil in the longterm, he is a winner and will bring the title back. dump the foreign lot (except hiddink but he will want the money that is not there. O Neil want need as much, but will bring the best out.

He will also ship out the obvious [oops] that is there

It has become a play ground for the Rich for sure. $100m if they do officially offer that i think say god bye to Torres i hope they don't.

if any of you clowns actually watch the games closely Torres always getting knocked around no free's given so Defenders think great I can smash him around all game and nothing will be done about it. The guy cant get a break so he does what needs to be done to score and we all know what Torres is like best finisher for a striker hands down in the world.

So Torres over exerting him self any one that over exerts them self's you will injure yourself that's whats been happening lets face it he might be the best but he does need help. We need another top striker or Center forward use a 4-4-2 Rafa you jack arse.

Get it right Torres's injuries are not down to defenders kicking him there down to strains, pulls and tears same as players like Darren Anderton, Jamie Redknapp, Ledley King, Harry Kewell and Michael Owen dont blame defenders or refs it's simply down to an injury prone player best in the world or not.

selling torres is unthinkable, how much does the club make from
merchandising from this kid alone?he's such an asset to the club.
i would bet he nearly sells double the amount of shirts that
stevie g does.
at still only 25 he's got a long career left and plenty of time to get over these niggling injuries.who could we possibly bring in to replace him in the famous no.9 shirt?
maybe robbie back,only kidding!

Nah you have been listening to Harry Kewell's agent to much, Torres is just an injury prone striker much like Owen and Sahar in that because he relies so much on a burst of pace he is more likely to get injuries like most fast players seem to get, short bursts of speed are harder on the muscles especialy when you twist and turn at speed as well.

He won't be getting this money through player sales, he will get it through investment. What's the point of reducing our debt if no one wants to buy us afterwards?
