roma 84 by a long way as liverpool were the best team in the world and beating roma in there own back yard for me the clubs greatest achievement , plus went to st peters and seen the pope JP2 in a mass audience .
True, we were some team then, wasnt that the year Rushie got 49 goals (50 if you count the peno in the shootout) Yeah to beat Roma at home was some achievement.
Went to Rome for my 40th, beautiful city and the Sisten Chapel is just unbelieveable.

for me the best was 1986 being at stamford bridge to see liverpool win the league then a week later wembley to beat everton for the double what a week my first F.A.Cup final and win the double and beat everton nothing beats that 7-8 days.
