There isn't a player still playing that I hat more than Ronaldo, but to deny that he has talent is lunacy. He has speed, power, pace, technical ability, trickery, a wicked shot, and cleverness. He'd walk into any side on the planet, no dispute. That said, I hate the [oops], whinging ex-manc and all that.

ok chelsea went all the way last season but the season before similar to this season all the teams out early ok arsenal still have to play but unlikely to turn it around , yes the premier league is an exciting league , but is it the european force people think it is ?????? I would say that the EPL is the best in Europe but Spain has the 2 top teams in Europe (probably the world) as a whole, ie, Real and Barca. In fact the Spanish league is just too skewed towards those 2 teams who have more than an unfair competition because of the structure of the payment of TV rights. I like watching Real and Barca games (provided it's not too late) but not really the rest, while I would watch a lot of the EPL games.

England holds the record for most clubs from its league to have won it (5) and are tied for second most cups (12, just 1 behind spain). In recent years particularly, England has been represented well in the competition. Since 2005 Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Milan, Inter, and Barca have been the winners, and the only one to win twice is Barca. That's three English teams, two Italian, and one Spanish. An English team has either been in the final or won it since then, with the exception of the 2009-10 cup. I think England's European showing for the last few years have been just fine.

Agree, if you take out the 2 Spanish teams who have an unfair advantage due to TV rights of their local league, the EPL has one of the best, if not the best record in Europe. This is why it is also the league that has the highest revenue overall (TV, match day) which is more evenly distributed (TV revenue mainly) than in Spain, this is also why, the competition is higher mot limited to 2 clubs more or less in Spain.

Yes. The EPL has had 8 finalists in the last 10 years. That's way more than any other league in europe.... CL Finalists in the last 10 years: EPL - 8 Serie A - 5 La Liga - 3 Bundesliga - 2 Ligue 1 - 1 Primeira Liga - 1 Case closed?

I think the same can be said for nearly every top flight football league in europe.....a handful of strong, glamour teams with the rest just making up the numbers who will never will win a thing.
