Am i alone in thinking that we still have an outside chance of pinching 4th place?

Beat Spurs and Chavs at home, as well as Everton, they don't have an easy run in, not easier than ours, and hope for the best.

How many of us still think this is a possibility? For me, Sunday's game is make or break, anything less than a win and it is defo season over, pick up 3 points and you never know. Am i being far too bold?!

The only way we could get top 4 imo is if we win the remaining 10 games and finish on 72 points. Do I think that is possible? Yes but do I think its realistic? no unfortunately

Our remaining games

H Spurs
A Southampton
A Aston Villa
H West Ham
A Reading
H Chelsea
A Newcastle
H Everton
A Fulham
H QPR

They are all winnable games and we have the toughest ones at home but I can't see it. If we won the next 5 games on the trot then I'll get my hopes up smile

I Just think 11 games is still a very long way to go. Victory on Sunday would give us an outside chance, at the very least, something to hold on to, something to play for.

A draw or defeat and its goodnight vienna.

Theres only 10 games left but I'll still keep hoping until its not possible but realistically it's hugely hugely unlikely

Chelsea are definately capable of falling out of the top four, i dont see it happening though. As people say, very very remote, but gotta have something to hope for, and strange things have happened

It's a very slim chance, beat Tottenham on the weekend and it becomes slightly more realistic, lose and it's 100% certain game over for me. But we can be hopeful, no harm in that despite what coolflames would have you believe.

Of the reamining Fixtures I'd say the ones we could drop points on are Tottenham, Chelsea, Everton, Newcastle.

3 at home, 1 away.

This would require us to do something we havent managed to do for over 3 years, we can't get past that 3 wins on the trot in the PL and to think we would most likely have to win all of our remaining games to seal 4th place!

If the player view it as we have nothing to play for this season it may ease the pressure and hopefully we can rack up a decent win streak to end the season well. I think we can push on for 5-6th, thats a bit more realistic.

I actually think that this Month if it goes well could see us make a real challenge which lasts till the last couple of games where we fall just short of the mark. and end the Season level on points with Arsenal in 5th but finishing 6th place..

This result against Spurs is key to any hope though.

It's not in our hands, we need to win most if not all and expect those above us to lose most.
