to be honest, cheering for rivals to get beat just because your own team is in no position to mount serious challenges themselves has always been small time for me, just my opinion tho...

well mr big time, no matter where liverpool have been they have always reveled in rival teams being beaten. in fact all teams from all clubs do it. i would have thought an historian such as yourself would have noticed that down through the centuries.

nope the really big clubs leave it in there own hands to have a say in the direct outcombe of games, if your a United fan who cares what teams like City, Leeds or Liverpool are doing when your in place to win the lot this season, when we were on top we just concentrated on ourselves which is how it should be...

i don't cheer Everton defeats, I would never ever like to see them get relegated either. The only time I talk about them is to give them a bit of praise for being the people of Liverpool's Club, very clever and also for spending within there means which again I think is a good example of how to run a business...
