also, that's life - it's full of ups and downs. It's not good moaning and wallowing in self-pity when the chips are down. That won't solve anything.
e.g. places like Stoke rock during home games. Anfield is like a morgue sometimes, even when we're winning. Why? because things are below expectations. Undersatandable. However, it will only create anxiety, lack of confidence, lack of atmosphere etc... and lead to more of the very things we don't want. A general malaise sets in.
So we need to snap out of it. As Stan, said we are where we are, but that doesn't mean we can't be positive about getting where we want to be.
'I was only in the game for the love of football - and I wanted to bring back happiness to the people of Liverpool.' Bill Shankly
'We should have made a signing or two in the last couple of transfer windows.' Vish

Looking at our remaining 10 games we should be able to take 22 points from the 30 available (key word being should!), I think that would be enough to nick or come very close to 5th, as I can see one of arsenal or spurs slipping up and having a bad spell at some point

So what do you want exactly bar coming here with your desperate [oops] like somebody who is fed up with life and himself (I would be fed up with myself if I were you though)?

That's not what happened last season. We fell apart after 4th looked out of reach, Arsenal took us apart and we lost the FA cup Final to a team we beat 3 times that season. At the end of last season, we had nothing to play for and the players couldn't be arsed. But now, the team is still working, still playing, still improving. I'm sick of this defeatist, whinging attitude. I'm sorry that we aren't a team that's easy for you to support anymore like we were in th 70s and 80s, but grow up. You keep going on about how your negativity and realism help the club some how, but moaning about how things suck doesn't make them suck any less. Even if it isn't all blue skies and shiny trophies, WE WALK ON. We always have something to play for. Right now, it's finish higher than the bluesh!te, take 5th, and stay in Europe. Arsenal and Everton are 2 of our 3 biggest rivals for breaking into the top 4. With a 5th place finish, that means we've passed 2, and we only have one more to pass. Things could be a hell of a lot worse. Newcastle got relegated a few years ago and looked like they would again for a while this year. We could be Leeds, locked out of the PL for the foreseeable future. We could be Rangers and under administration. Are we anywhere near what we once were? Of course not. Have we any right to feel content? No. But things at least look to be on the way up, and some people are taking comfort in that. Why do you want so badly to take that away from them?

The league is 38 games - doesn't matter when you win or lose them..

+1 mike. Every game is something to play for. Every win is a win.

Do you want to be reported evaluate if you carry on delibrately going of topic with personal stuff like you are this will happen, just keep to the topic...
