Can't believe as a long standing fan I am saying this how low we have sunk.
But we are we we are.
5th ?
I think it's a real possibility I think we will finish ahead of Everton arsenal will be tough but we can do it. If we did finish 5th would it be considered a successful season.? I think pragmatically it would and would give us euros league football and position well for champions league placing challenge the following season. It may also give FSG the confidence in Rodgers enabling funds for investment in the squad.

I think it should be a decent battle with Everton for 6th place myself, think Arsenal or Spurs will get 5th as they are still ahead of us both on and off the pitch, look forward to your new post in a few weeks time titles " The race for 6th " lol...

Well at least I am striving for the team. What else is a supporter supposed to do ? Accept that were no better than west brom and Swansea, and take no pleasure in anything but pointing out how awful everything about the club is?

Just the opinion I get from having read your posts I dont get nowhere near as much as enjoyment out of the Club now anybody over the age of 30 will be in the same boat as me on that one, it's no longer the same Club unfortunately, the things that made it what it was are sadly no longer there...

True but that's a generic football problem my mates who are utd fans say the same thing. If Liverpool were winning titles it still would not be as good as te 70 and 80 's because the game is more corporate now and cripplingly expensive
