Thats a bit harsh. Other then this season Enrique never scores and for me Johnson has been the best right back in league thia season

delirious, bandwagoner here. Sorry want3d but because he wins a few tackles doesn`t make him a good defender, that`s what he should be doing. It`s no good him being ok for 89 mins 59 secs if he switches off and it costs us a goal, Once is perhaps Ok but it happens repeatly. As somebody else stated it`s like a 15 year old kid, he really should have had this sorted by now, by the way WTF are the coaches doing to sort it?

Glenn Johnson has been consistently great for us this season. Yes he has the odd lapse but every defender does and its only more noticable because its one of the less forgiving positions on the pitch.
The thing is with Johnson is thats its easy and almost the buzz statement to say that he's great going forward but average defensively, its dished out every time a goal is conceded if he is remotely involved. But the thing is he is actually GREAT going forward and if there is a slight negative in his defending very occasionally I'm happy with that and I think you would struggle to find a better right back in the Prem.
Ps. i can remember when Carra was one of the best defensive full backs in the country but it used to drive people nuts that he couldnt offer anything going forward.

Ben36 I am not some 15 year old kid and I`m afraid I can`t agree with you that Johnson is Great going forward, he has his moments certainly but is far from consistent, he tends to amble upto defenders and then thinks about what he needs to do next half the time. I am not saying he is a bad player by anymeans but he should not be having the same issue over and over again at the back, if you did that at work you would be fired would you not?
Unfortunately the BUZZ statement is there because it`s true, hard work and better concentration will easily sort it.It is hard to be the perfect mix of Attacker and Defender but when in the right position (he normally is) why does he switch off?

I dont think it was in reference to me either but it was inferring that I was responding to the original poster as though he was a child or something. This is getting complicated but the comment def wasn't saying that G Johnson is a 15 yr old.
