I've been thinking for a long time about transfers and many of us are saying that FSG need to put up the cash for experienced quality players but they haven't been funding for such players.

Is it possible to have an appeal where every LFC supporter donates £1 to a fund and once the cash is collected it is donated to the club to buy the player that we want?

Hypothetically, would this work?

Good idea, but I would rather we form a company with a view to acquiring ownership, similar to Barca etc
Buying players could lead to endless messy litigation, ownership is the preferred choice.

Ie funds from Ticket sales certain % goes towards player purchases.

£1 per person, per week X 100.000 fans = £100k x 52 weeks= 5.2 m

I think certain fans pay enough into the club without having to pay in more, to fund transfers...

It would just be anther source of income for big John. He s very poor you knows and needs our money. I agree if we had a fans cooperative that owned the club ne that would be a different matter. In Germany most of the clubs are that way.
