BR's hardly setting the world alight - but he's not exactly failing miserably either.

As for Coolflames / CarheeX (whatever he calls himself) he's been hot air all afternoon, pointing fingers but offering zero solutions - WUM'ing it up big time.

So you think that keeping someone for 5 years will turn them into the the greatest manager that the game has ever seen? We should have kept Hodgson then...

Ferguson is the exception, not the rule.

Maybe we shoud have kept carroll for 5 years just to give him a chance to surpass Messi's goals scoring achievements?

LOL, I laughed

Your comparison of BR with Michael Laudrup, who has come in an got them a cup in his first season can just as easily be palmed off with your "he is the exception, not the rule."

Well played Eliot, this Carheex is a fact so is Laudrup the exception? Or the rule? Or is he just a better coach than BR? (I think so tbh) We'll never know well not for another 2 or 3 years anyway, how about we just sack everyone and build from the bottom again?

OK, how about Steve Clarke? West Brom are 4 places and 5 points better off than this time last year. I'm sure he's made changes (no point in appointing a manager who leaves everything the same!) and West Brom are better off for it. Has he needed a couple of seasons to make his mark?

Ok, tit for tat - Alan Pardew, last season had a great one, now doing shiite, was he a good manager last season and has suddenly become a shiite one this season?
