He'd be remembered as a brilliant striker and in the future we'd all be wondering what might have been, there's no doubt about that in my mind. However, he's nowhere near being labeled as a Liverpool Football Club legend, not yet anyway. Think Daglish, Gerrard and Fowler (to name just a few), they are all true LFC legends, Suarez has a way to go before achieving that title for me.

Suarez is not a Liverpool legend simple as, if he's here another 4 or 5 years and we win 4 or 5 trophies then maybe yeah, but legendary status cant possibly be given after 2 years.

is luis sarez in the same legend status as keegan, hunt, dalglish ,liddell, fowler or owen ????? yes luis hew has a great season but last season he didnt yes a top player on his day . still baffles me how you can call somebody a legend for us when they have'nt even won the League, there are some great, great Liverpool players won three, four and even five League titles and still not earned the tag legend yet fans want to give it to a mercenery player, who has damaged the clubs reputation and has only had one good season a legend, like I say all about opinions. I will throw a name into the hat as a Club legend who does'nt get the recognised as much as he should " James Robert Case " 4 League titles, 1 U.E.F.A Cup, 3 European Cups, 1 League Cup and 1 Super Cup now come back and tell me Luis Suarez should be put on the same level as him with his one good season under his belt, I would'nt even put Gerrard ahead of Jimmy Case as a Legend myself and Jimmy was a true local lad... So Steven Gerrard isn't a club Legend? in my criteria not as much as some, think him and Carragher are both recent cult heroes just like Fowler, but as in gigantic Club legends I would'nt put Gerrard ahead of your Dalglish, Souness, Jimmy Case, Ray Kennedy, Ray Clemence, Phil Neal, Alan Kennedy, Alan Hansen, Mark Lawrenson e.t.c. for the simply fact as he has'nt achieved as much in a Liverpool shirt as those players, thats why I think calling Suarez a legend after one good season is a complete joke... 'Mark Lawerenson is more of a club legend than Gerrard' I won't even try to argue with that idiotic opinion.

all about opinions, for me greatness is measured in what you have won and how special you have been in achieving that, Lawro won 5 League titles, 1 F.A.Cup, 3 League Cups and a European Cup in what is regarding by most the greatest achievement in the Clubs history...

A Legend can be different things for different people, I think Gerrard has been a fantastic player for us one of the best if not the best player over the last 20 years, but to put him alongside people who have done more and achieved more for the Club for me is quite baffling, it's like putting Gareth Bale ahead of Danny Blanchflower for Spurs, David Batty ahead of Billy Bremner for Leeds United, Kerry Dixon ahead of Peter Osgood for Chelsea or Duncan Ferguson ahead of Dixie Dean for Everton, all are very good or great players in there own right but not ahead of true Club legends who done more and achieved for the Clubs...

It's your opinion as you said. For me Gerrard is a legend who will be remembered as one of the greatest players for LFC whether you like it or not, and it will not be only me remembering him. I am dead sure about this.
