He was the last manager that made us all proud to be LFC fans. He over-achieved with what he was given.

So what's the rafa-bashing all about?

Yep +1

No one's talking about him coming back to us (on this thread, yet whistle) I think he'd do well if given the chance for Spain, quality cup specialist.

Maybe TikiTaka Rodgson should be their next manager - he plays a similar style. Apparently.

It generally only comes from those that were saddened by Dalglish's departure, and/or want him back (trust me - these people exist and live among us!!). No idea why.

It also come from those who called for him to be sacked originally, who realising they now look like complete numpties, continue to spread their agenda to deflect from the fact that they've played a massive part in the fall of our club.

hmmm, well i have to be honest, it was hard pushed to find anyone at the time who thought he should stay. he hasnt covered himself in glory since he left either.

in my own memory, towards the end of his reign it put me in a cold sweat to think about him staying on. i wouldnt have him back either. i also wouldnt have dalglish back. in the end sacking both managers was the right thing to do. however AND THIS IS THE BIG QUESTION, was there an element of them being pushed out, just a little, by owners who no longer wanted to back them.?

every manager creates his own downfall imo, because every manager is backed from the start, however i think when the board start to waver, you have to be right for the job and good enough in your own abilities to change their mind. neither KD or RB were good enough to achieve that.

will BR?
