How do you know the focus was changed? Have a look at the results after the Arsenal game last season which you claim as the the change in focus.
12 games played, 4 wins 1 draw 8 losses.
Beat Everton the week before the cup game at Stoke Beat Blackburn midweek before Everton cup game Beat Norwich the week before the cup final and chelsea 3 days after it. If anything we performed better the week of the cup games so there is no excuse for our poor performance in the other games

Should I understand that BR is performing according to your expectations based on the number of points for every five games?

We beat Everton and Stoke who we would be expected to beat in a knockout competition more than 50% of the time and then lost to Chelsea in those last 13 games.
We did excellently before that to beat the likes of United and City but it was ultimately his shocking performance in the league, particularly the end where there was a regression in the team that sealed his faith

You didn't answer with regards to your expectations on the points tally for every chunk of 5 games, are you happy?

I'm more concerned with FSG than I am with Rodgers.
We got off to a sh1t start with the fixtures this season in tandem with a new manager implementing a new system - not to mention short of a proper striker (who was really to know when we signed Borini - his injury hardly helped)
We're playing much better now that the team is starting to bed in - Sturridge was a massive signing and we have in all honesty, a half decent run in to the end of the season.
Don't know about you guys, but I'd say there's no comparrisson between the way we played under Kenny and the way we play under BR.
BR was never any of our first picks, but he's done well enough and we look to be getting stronger. This time next year we'll be looking healthier still - love him or hate him, sacking him this summer would only put us back another year or two, atleast.

Changing managers every year is not good for the stability of the club, and as you say, it usually puts a team back at least initially, because the new manager would like to bring his players for his new system etc. That said, i am still not convinced about BR, losing to teams like Villa and WBA at home and Oldham doesn't help. In fact, i don't know what to think anymore, except may be to get someone like JoseM, Klopp, may be Blanc who are proven. No need to change BR for a Martinez

Defo understand you not having unquestionable faith in BR (lol)
One thing though about the games you mentioned (I didn't see the Oldham game so I can't comment) but I thought we proper dominated both WBA and Villa.
The Villa match was one of those where they had three shots and scored all three - against the run of play would be an understaement.
West Brom.... bloody hell, if only that pen had gone eh??? Strridge being out made a massive difference too.
I know we've hardly set the world alight this season, but we're starting to take shape now, we'll finish higher and with a better total than last season too. I think we've had so many low points over the last couple of years that when we start to show signs of improvement, it makes the mistakes even harder to take, leaves you feeling robbed, cheated & betrayed - you know, proper kicked in the nuts.
BR needs to stay in place ATLEAST until the end of next season, just gotta suck it up, enjoy the good times and keep our fingers crossed it all comes together in the meantime..

27 game under dalglish 39 points
27 games under rodgers 39 points
Game won at hone under dalglish 6
Game won at home under rodgers 7
Scored more goals under rodgers
dalglish conceded less but not much less
that's how it stands now so how is dalglish better in the league ???? We went to 2 cup finals winning one + you were not crying on this forum because the manager didn't take the cup games seriously last season. I remember what you did on this forum when we were kicked out of the cups even if you have forgotten. cup finals are great the league cup was a great trip , but cup finals don t make teams good and the league season was a disgrace after the millions dalglish spent

Home form is more important to the match going fans as they want to see their team win. But for the club both are just as important as each other, its 3 points either way for a win
