So Anfield was a fortress under Kenny? Kenny had a shocking home record and BR has improved on the league form which is the only really like for like basis from which to compare

If the league form is the only basis upon which to compare then they will both have failed to qualify for the CL places after one full season each.

One will also have done better than the other regardless of finishing top 4 or not.

Who cares which one has the best 'home record'!? That's just splitting hairs, if their overall records are pretty poor. You don't get more points for a home win!!

BR's record can only be fully assessed at the end of the season and I would be very surprised if we didn't see an improvement on last year.

From a playing point of view do you not see an improvement in performances as the year has gone on?

Surely it's results that he should be judged on though? Saying that we 'played well' or put in a 'good performance' is not only highly subjective but also pointless if we lose. We played brilliantly under Roy Evans but always under achieved because he couldn't sort the defence. Very similar to Rodgers.
Benitez was often criticised for focussing primarily on defence but he won the Champions League. We may not have done it in style (excpet for the final!) but try telling that to the history books.

I guess it all depends on how you personally evaluate Liverpool and what you want from the team. Do you want us to grind out results and win things or do you want to be entertained.....?
