I am in shock that Agger doesn't have more votes...quite disappointed.

Never liked a striker being a captain along with a goalkeeper so Lucas and Dagger for me

I'm not sure how important the captaincy is to be honest.

Suarez has the potential to be captain if he sorts his temper out. I don't like the way he shouts at the youngsters in contempt. You can shout at them, but the manner in which he does it on the pitch is despicable. Otherwise it has to be Agger.

i actually have never seen luis lose his temper.

and ive seen gerrard have plenty a go at the younger lads. apparently he is a great guy off the pitch so who knows. however its hard to be captain at liverpool when you are at another club.

He loses it constantly at the likes of Sterling, Suso, Kelly etc.
Agger is a good leader in defence and you can have Skrtel as well.

on the pitch I don't think it's hugely important. I think behind the scenes a good captain needs to have a good relationship with the players and be a good motivator when it comes to training and leading by example. It is not the same as a rugby captain who has an active role to play in a game

Johnson?

Johnson isn't enough of a leader and motivator in my opinion...

i think Agger would be great or Suarez too,but suarez is a bit messy when he is on the pitch...complains a lot with the refs and loses his temper....
