TO be honest i'm not sure anyone is going to have any degree of success here at the moment as many things including the squad n money are hampering anyone of any note making a good go of things.
Yeah if we have gone back any and done worse than when a certain someone was sacked for doing badly before hand then I think you have to say that the managers position should be a precarious one.
That said FSG claimed this was a long term vision (even tho rumors out today they been looking for a buyer since Nov 2012) and have backed Rodger claiming not to expect much in this first season.
My personal feelings are that Rodgers is not cut our for the job. I like some of his style of football but for me he gets too much of the basics completely wrong. I have to be honest though i'm stumped on a replacement at the moment as we no longer have the pull we did.
I don't think 5-0 win against Swansea should now mean his job is safe however enjoyable it was to watch some goals go in for a change. We potentially exit the final possible cup this week and top 4 is just a pipe dream. Once all the other team catch up on games we are back in that position of one slip up and we drop to around 10th or 11th again, not good enough.
