we need at least on more attacking midfielder. we need someone who can really beat defenders and create chances. a "high flying winger".

I was looking at the way Arjen Robben played against scotland, he was really great. we need someone that good. Ribery won't be cheap, and I have not seen enough of him but everyone is saying that he's great.

Yes but in the summer Barry will be in the last year of his contract and was promised that he could leave if Villa dont get into CL... so I think £8m is cheap but quite plausible, as I said I imagine it will be nearer £12m

Downing doesnt do it for me, he looks like a mid table club player. Downing should play for Pompey of Fulaham .A guy like Lennon is something special, although he is young. I think he will be pricey.

I still think Barry would be good for the team as we need the depth but as long as the price isn't stupid.

Lennon would also be a good option, as would Salif Dioa.

I don't Lennon would be an option because I'm sure he's just signed a new deal. That being the case the asking price would be too high I think. He would be a great to asset on our side but can't see it happening! If we could get Barry for 10-12 mill then that would be fantastic but we still need more width so that should be priority along with an excellent back up striker for Torres!
