na he will be given the season but tbh i think he was been found out and we know what he is and isnt capable of.

In the possibility that he is relieved, who would replace him and would you trust Fsg to appoint the right man

i dont trust the americans, nor do i particularly distrust them, but they seem to be half arsed in the extreme.

There inability to find an administrator who knows what it takes to run a football club is a joke.

I think that Rodgers should get 2 seasons. To be fair on the guy, he did come late in the frame and we didn't have a scouting set up when he did. And he did seem to buy much better players during January. I think that he will buy some good players during the summer break too.

And as for our players being good enough, well if that's the case, why are they losing? In my opinion, they aren't and they keep on proving it. Yes, they might be good, and will get better, but we need first team players that are better. Put some of the ones we have on the bench and sell or loan the rest.

I'm hesitant when I say that, but I think all this cutting jobs and starting all over again is giving FSG an excuse for failure. If we get a new name, then they can come up with the same excuse of telling us we need to give it time because we have new people in charge, and the excuse of saying that the manager didn't have time to bring in his people over the summer. Do you really want to deal with that again?

At least if Rodgers gets the summer to bring in his players, then we can actually see the Manager, FSG, and the scouting department at work, and there is very little chance of excuses. When I look at it that way, then I don't want Rodgers to go at all, because I want to see FSG being helpful.

Giving him time isn't necessarily going to work. For me, there is a big problem with mentality and no amount of time and philosophy and 'world class' players will sort that.

Look at Utd. Apart from Rooney and Van Persie they are IMO very ordinary but have a winning mentality. Look at City's squad and its much better but they don't have that same mentality. Same could be said for the Chavs.

I do like Rodgers but he doesn't seem to be able to instil that mentality in the players that we need. If he could and had, we wouldn't be loosing out to late sloppy goals.

They didn't have it in their first season in charge, it was something that they developed. There are no guarantees, we could get Rafa, and it could be worse. We need to give it time to be able to judge better, there are signs of quality, there is just something missing, I'm not happy with it, but I like him, and if we can give young players time, then we should do the same for managers.
